Use AWS Annual Prepaid

The EMQX Platform offers subscriptions from the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace with the annual prepaid billing model. This page introduces how to subscribe to the EMQX platform via AWS Marketplace.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are met:

  • You have an active AWS account, which allows you to use the EMQX Platform and be billed directly via AWS.
  • If your email address is already registered on the EMQX website for business consumption, you must use a different email address when registering for the EMQX Platform through the AWS Marketplace.
  • To make a purchase, you need to be logged in to the AWS Marketplace, and your AWS account must be enabled for purchases by your billing administrator.

Subscribe to EMQX Platform via AWS Marketplace

  1. Contact EMQX sales to request a quote for the annual prepaid EMQX Platform subscription via AWS Marketplace. You will receive a private offer link from the EMQX sales team.

  2. Check your email for the private offer link sent by the EMQX sales team.

  3. Use the provided link to view the private offer on AWS Marketplace. Review the terms of use carefully. Click Create contract to proceed.

    • The EMQX operations team will configure your account and annual deployments.

Verify Your Private Offer Acceptance

If the payment process is interrupted or you cannot find the entry point to the private offer, follow the steps below to ensure your private offer has been successfully accepted:

  1. Locate Your Private Offers: Log in to your AWS account and navigate to the Private Offers page in the AWS Marketplace console. This page lists all available private offers as well as those you have already subscribed to. Below is a screenshot of Private Offers page:

  2. Check for Agreement Confirmation: Verify that an agreement code is displayed next to your private offer. This code confirms the successful acceptance of the offer. If no agreement code appears within 10 minutes of your acceptance, the transaction may not have been processed correctly, and you should check your payment method.

  3. Monitor Your Notifications: Both the buyer (you) and the seller (EMQX) will receive email notifications regarding the acceptance of the private offer. Check your inbox for confirmation emails sent to the address associated with your AWS account. However, it is still recommended to manually confirm the private offer status on the Private Offers page as described above.
