EMQX Fleets displays reference instance and egress traffic prices based on the selected device tier.
Free During Beta
Instance and egress traffic prices are displayed for reference and are not charged during the Private Beta period.
Instance Price
The instance price is the hourly reference price for the maximum number of devices selected when creating the deployment.

The selected tier cannot be changed after the deployment is created.
Egress Traffic Price
The reference egress traffic price is $0.15/GB for all device tiers.
Price Calculation
During Private Beta, the following calculation provides a reference only. Instance and egress traffic fees are not charged.
Reference price = Instance price × Running hours + Egress traffic × $0.15/GBFor example, a deployment with a maximum of 20,000 devices that runs for 10 hours and generates 20 GB of egress traffic has the following reference price:
- Instance price: $1.37/hour × 10 hours = $13.70
- Egress traffic price: 20 GB × $0.15/GB = $3.00
- Total reference price: $13.70 + $3.00 = $16.70
